We are looking for a Retail Store Leader who is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of retail outlets, including sales, staff, stock, and resource management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure policies and procedures, such as cash handling procedures, loss prevention measures, and safety protocols, are conducted properly.
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide employee supervision and training in customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions.
  • Implement cross-training for employees and supervisors.
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
  • Develop and maintain an employee schedule.
  • Plan promotional ideas to boost holiday sales and advertise available products and services.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and implement purchasing plans.
  • Report to the HQ on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
  • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
  • Maintain outstanding and presentable store conditions and visual merchandising
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.).
  • Be a leading example of good behaviour and performance.

You will assist customers in purchasing products, handle inquiries and complaints, and maintain excellent customer service standards at all times. An ideal retail assistant will have well-rounded sales skills, such as confidence, empathy, patience, and excellent communication.

Your Responsibility:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Process customer payments and refunds, and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Receive stock deliveries and conduct stock checks.
  • Be aware of shoplifting and payment fraud.
  • Maintain excellent store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ascertain and recommend customers’ needs and wants.
  • Keep up-to-date with product information.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Retail Assistant’s Requirements and Skills:

  • Previous working experience in retail sales
  • A basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Good English Proficiency
  • Outstanding track record of sales quotas.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality
